Something New With Your Friends

A few years ago, a wonderfully creative young woman got in touch with me and asked me if I could run a laughter yoga class for her and three friends. They had all had a bit of a tough time and they’d decided they wanted to try something new, out of their comfort zone, but they wanted to stay in the comfort of their home.

So I went to their house.

We ran through some laughter yoga exercises, sang some silly songs, breathed, listened to beautiful music and wrote poetry.

It was a beautiful experience for all of us, cementing these 4 women’s friendship, an honour to hold and witness as a facilitator.

This is just one example of a workshop I can run.

Sometimes a different kind of energy brings us new ideas.

A workshop could involve laughter yoga, clowning, dressing up, comedy improvisation, storytelling, dance, puppetry or a combination! It could include a more formal, sharing circle.

It can be as silly or as serious as you like – the reason I start with silliness is that it often cuts through and opens us up a bit more, but it’s entirely up to you.

I propose Laughter Yoga because it’s so relevant right now. It is of vital importance that we are all breathing deeply to keep our lungs healthy and strong, so our immune systems can fight any infection coming our way.

It’s fun for friends to do together. AND IT’S GOOD FOR YOU.

Drop me a line, tell me about your group, what do you all love, what do you think your group would enjoy? We can create something together.

What People Are Saying…

“Thank you for offering this time each day. It has been a game changer in the self-isolating world.”

“I felt (and still feel) like I'd been out on a good energising walk. I am grateful to you for doing this, keeping us all well and topped up so that we in turn have plenty of resources for others.”

“Suzy, the woman who runs it is the perfect measure of bonkers and sane so that I really let loose!”
